Basically, the person above you wishes for something and you grant it. But give them a terrible side effect because of something.
For example!

I wish I had cake

Wish granted! But the cake is poisonous therefore inedible.

I wish for an A in physics.
---
Granted! but you fail all your other classes
I wish___

And so on. SO I wish for a new cosplay outfit lol
